Nut Free Pesto


Don’t resto ‘til you’ve tried this pesto.

With so many people allergic to nuts it’s useful to know a pesto recipe that doesn’t need them.
It tastes just as good as classic pesto served with your favourite pasta. An easy peasy lunch or dinner option.

Pesto

3 cups lightly packed spinach leaves (approx 3 large handfuls)
2 cups basil leaves
25g grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
freshly ground black
pepper, to taste

Here’s the whizz…


This one’s a doddle. Place all the ingredients into the
blending jug and blend on a low speed in pulses until all the
ingredients are combined. Increase the speed until smooth.
Adjust the seasoning. Store refrigerated in an air-tight jar or tub until required.
